We got moved into our new facility in December, all the animals are moved, happy and safe.
However, we still have a long ways to go to make it the perfect place for our residents awaiting adoption. Someone decided they needed our air conditioner more than we did, so as the warm weather approaches, the heated and cooled areas are only heated. Someone, perhaps the same someone, also decided that they needed the electrical wiring for two of our rooms in the building. One of those rooms is scheduled to be the puppy room, where our pups can have a safe and fun nursery school area, complete with a play ground to stimulate their growth and development.
We are needing to build out the puppy area with safe and healthy pens, install fencing to the play yard and install a seperate heating and air conditioning system.
We also need to build the small dog building out with CMU (concrete block) sides and gates along with large play yards for them to enjoy the sunshine and inneract with volunteers.
All the donations thus far have been wonderful and so appreciated, but we still need your help. To quote an old song from the 1970's, "we've got a long way to go and a short time to get there..." help us get there please with your tax deductible donation.
