Make a difference to very poor, incredibly hard working, smiling, grateful children of Cam Ranh (Vietnam). The timing has never been better - or more critical. Many of the children in the nearby villages are not equipped to share in economic success of this rapidly developing area. They need English and computer skills. We are providing that education. With this training, these young children can have a very bright future. Without it, they will continue to struggle to eke out a meager existence
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
If ever there was an opportunity for a group of children to become self reliant, in a short time with just a little bit of help, this is surely it. The families in the Cam Ranh area desperately want to help their children get the training they need but all of their resources are required just to sustain their current way of life - there isn't any such thing as luxuries, or discretionary income, or an option for these families to tap their savings accounts.
How will this project solve this problem?
We're already half way there. We already have the school built. With your donation, we'll hire teachers and provide the equipment and supplies. Your donation, today, will offer these young kids a lifetime of job opportunities.
Potential Long Term Impact
Your support will help provide 100 kids with the training they need for a good future. Not only will their own dreams be realized but they'll be able to support their families - now and for many years to come. Our Project Leader was adopted from the Cam Renh village 40 years ago. She has been living in Vietnam for the past 20 years establishing several humanitarian projects in Vietnam. Building and funding this Cam Renh Educational Village is her passion and dream. Help us continue this work.
