Dale Edmonds and her family discovered the truth about child trafficking through their adopted daughter in Cambodia. The adoptive family found the rest of the children and adopting four altogether. They began building ties with the Cambodian community and started a kindergarten. Gradually, other support services such as healthcare, food, counselling and training were added to assist the community.
Mr Phy Sophon has an outstanding career that included being the representative of the residents and main liaison for all community development discussions with the Government and NGOs. His extensive experience in dealing with community issues, conflict resolution and investigation of human rights violation gave him the key skills to take on the most important role in Riverkids Foundation.
Combined with other sources of funding, this project raised enough money to fund the outlined activities and is no longer accepting donations.
