Safeena has been working for girls' education in India since 2005. She has worked extensively with rural and urban underserved communities in South America, Africa and Asia. She has 15 yrs of experience in working on grassroots projects around the world and started community health projects in Ecuador, Mexico, Bolivia, and South Africa.
Devendra Shukla has a strong background in rural development and capacity building for NGO's in the Asia-Pacific region. From 2004 to 2007 he was Chief Executive Director for the Development Co-ordination Network Committee (DCNC) in Jaipur. He was Director of the Jaipur Rugs Foundation and the Field Director of CECOEDECON, Jaipur from 1999-2004.
Dinesh Upadhyay has 12 years of experience in the development sector. He collaborated with organizations such as Kribhco and Gramin Vikas Trust and worked at the Centre for Environment Education, Delhi and the Sainik Foundation on a variety of integration-based livelihood projects enhancing community health, education and women's empowerment.
Combined with other sources of funding, this project raised enough money to fund the outlined activities and is no longer accepting donations.
