Richbone Initiative Foundation is working to meet the educational needs of children who must walk a mile or more to school and are been denied of opportunities and basic educational materials.
Ghana’s poverty has been decimating educational efforts as children in many parts of the rural communities face incredible obstacles in getting good quality basic education. For example, in Anum Presby Primary A and B, in the Asugyaman district of the Eastern region, a tiny village between two mountain ranges, many children must walk a mile or more to school. These children long to have their very own school kit, which includes a notebook, ruler, pencils, pencils, sharpener, erasers.
providing school supplies for all school going children in all the rural communities it will help us achieve the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015 and also help parents who can not afford to buy school suppliers for their children.
th project will symbolized everything about the value of education in the community and make a difference in children's live. more than 10,000 children will benefit from this project including parents of these children and will eradicate poverty.
This project has provided additional documentation in a Microsoft Word file (projdoc.doc).
