Excellent progress has been made since our last report. We are now nearing enough donations to cover the cost of one student in our program for an academic year.
-more donors donated more money over the last quarter. globalgiving is becoming a regularly used avenue for our community members to donate
-more awareness of the school: new website (www.gspdx.org) design is creating a lot of social media comment and receiving great reviews from prospective families.
-most importantly, more kids being able to join our community.

With the start of the new school year, we are thrilled to have been able to welcome 161 students last week. This was our largest starting enrollment number ever. Thanks to those who have been generous to our Financial Aid program. Without your donations, some of these students would not be attending school here today.

GSP's Financial Aid Support program has been successfully launched. Thanks much to those who have found us and donated. We are still a long way from our goal, but having a small foundation upon which to grow is crucial. GSP survives only as a result of kind donations and our financial aid program is mission crucial. This program opens the doors to 20% of our families who otherwise could not afford our school.
Please help spread the word about this giving option and help us help our kids. We indeed have a long way to go, but we are now underway. If we reach this goal, GSP's longevity as an organization will be cemented and our eduction will continue to be available to more and more students.
The kids and community really appreciate the help and I look forward to seeing more!
