German American School Financial Aid Support

As the 2012-13 academic year draws to a close, we are focussing our attention on enrollment for 2013-14.  A new and exciting update is that for the new school year, financial aid is being made available to preschool students for the very first time. 

The school recognizes how expensive high-quality childcare can be and the school board has voted to open the financial aid program to preschool students to open our doors to families who could not or would not otherwise consider GSP a viable option for their child's education.

Making the program available to preschool students is the correct decision.  However, the program expenses for such an excellent school remain high and we are dependent on our generous donors to help bridge the gap.  While we strive to maintain the balance between finance and programming, we look to you to help us.

Every little bit (or large chunk!) helps.  Please consider supporting these children in their pursuit of our global brand of education.

Dear GSP Supporters,

Thanks to your generous donations, we’ve raised nearly $11,000 to support our financial aid program during the 2012-2013 school year. Your donations contribute to a vital program that opens the doors to our school even wider than ever. The financial aid support program is a crucial one for GSP, giving families that may not otherwise be able to send their children to GSP the opportunity to overcome financial challenges. The financial aid committee will be meeting again soon to review family requests and we hope to be able to meet everyone’s needs. Dear GSP Supporters,

Thanks to the 20 donations received since the beginning of the year, we've raised more than $18,000 to support our financial aid program. This puts us only $2,000 away from reaching our goal of $20,000!

Funds raised through this program have opened the doors to our school even wider than ever. Last year we had 8 students we were able to help through our financial aid program and as a result of your generous donations through globalgiving this year, more than 14 families will receive financial aid in the upcoming school year.
