Spring’s arrival here in Portland also kicks off the school tour season for families looking to enroll their child in a new school.
The German American School of Portland opens its doors to families exploring various school options in the greater Portland area. We invite those interested in German immersion and our new Infusion program to meet our teachers, explore classrooms, and learn about our rich curriculum.
Many parents are drawn to the idea of exposing their child to an additional language whether it is through a full-immersion, or partial immersion program. Some of those families get discouraged when they find our school to be the perfect fit, but tuition is just out of reach.
This is where you, the generous donor, come in. Help close that financial gap and make a bilingual education possible. With your support the German American School of Portland can continue to grow its programs and offer a unique brand of education to globally-minded families.
Our sincerest thanks,
Julia Matschukat

Exciting News for GSP!
By Julia Matschukat | Marketing and Social Media Coordinator
Dear GSP Supporters,
This week marks Open Enrollment here at the German American School of Portland and we are thrilled to welcome new families to join the GSP community for the 2014-15 school year!
With the new school year on the horizon, we are excited to announce the addition of an English “Infusion” program. The new Infusion program will enrich our already well-rounded curriculum and provide German as a Second language. This will open the school up to families who want their child exposed to an additional language, global perspective and a small school community. The Immersion and Infusion programs will run alongside one another and intermix in order to foster a cross-program exchange of knowledge and ideas.
Although the addition of this program is new and exciting, the need for support though financial aid remains constant. Our goal of consistently providing an excellent, well-rounded education is dependent on generous donors like you. Please consider supporting the German American School of Portland in growing our program and offering a global brand of education through our financial aid program.
Our sincerest thanks,
Julia Matschukat

The German American School of Portland still buzzes with excitement as the students finish their first month back at school. Although we started the school year strong, GSP is always looking to further cultivate our school community through higher enrollment numbers. To do that we often look to donors like you to increase our financial aid abilities.
Take a moment to look at what our school has to offer in terms of a bilingual education, a rich and balanced curriculum, and an open learning environment. GSP educates well-rounded, global citizens. Your generous donation helps us provide this opportunity for those parents who may not have the means to fulfill that dream on their own. Let’s make that dream a reality!
