This program introduces youth to the world of video production and encourages students to discover relevant and creative ways to make their voices heard to change their community for the better.
Youth ages 9-18 from throughout Seattle participate in the program; we primarily work with partner agencies such as Boys & Girls Clubs, Parks & Recreation Departments, alternative schools, and YMCAs to serve youth who are looking for a creative outlet to have their voice heard.
Afterschool workshops that are in 7-week series or semester long classes; week long intensive camps during school breaks and summer; all programs teach the ins and outs of video production and editing, story development.
Youth will gain video production skills that will provide them with marketable skills for the workplace, will gain heightened self-esteem, will learn how to work collaboratively and on a team, and will learn how to make their voice heard.
