For Granted, in partnership with a local organization, provides children with scholarships for secondary education and vocational training in Burkina Faso.
Burkina Faso is one of the poorest countries in the world and faces severe challenges. The extreme poverty in Burkina Faso equates to a lack of opportunity, especially relating to the education of children. This scholarship program enables students to complete their secondary school education and vocational training opening the door to many future opportunities benefiting their families and themselves.
The scholarship program works with a local organization, AGIR, to select the students, monitor their academic progress, and evaluate the impact of the program. Our long term goal is to raise $32,000 to support 50 students throughout their education.
This scholarship program will enable children to obtain the education they need for their chosen profession and their future. The program will also positively impact the lives of their family members, communities, and country.
