After surgery, patients and families are taken to the Casa De Fe, a 150 bed recovery center, where patients have a safe place to recover and 3 meals per day before their long journey home.
This project will benefit 1,000 patients and their families as they recover at the Casa De Fe from surgeries received at the Obras Sociales Hermano Pedro. The Casa De Fe provides clean beds for up to 150 people, 3 meals daily, hot showers, hygiene products, a dedicated staff, an ecumenical chapel open 24 hours a day for prayer and comfort, coffee and pure water served all day and security cameras for the safety of families and personal belongings.
Every $5 donated provides an entire day worth of care, food and board for one patient. Patients need food, bath, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, beds, clean bedding, post op care, security and qualified staff after surgery.
Imagine being discharged from the hospital sore after major surgery. You can sleep on the street until you’re ready to make the long journey home or you can take a long, bumpy bus ride home. The Casa De Fe solves this issue for thousands each year.
