Updates from the Dr. Jesus A. Datu Medical Center

Here is just a sample of our programs. The JADMC schedule of activities is extremely hectic but very rewarding.

  • our upcoming Harelip/Cleft Palate Surgical Mission will target 150 patients and involve over 50 volunteers
  • cataract surgeries occur every day, at least five patients per day, and screenings and post-operative checkups occur every Saturday. We lack more eye center equipment and are seeking donations to purchase these
  • the Prosthetics Rehabilitation Center is underway staffed by volunteers from Arellano University
  • the Mother Child Charity Clinic continues every Friday
  • we are now approved by PHILHEALTH, which is one step closer to self-sustainabililty.

The late Dr. Datu will be recognized in a ceremony on the eve of the Fiesta of Bacolor on November 16, 2012, hosted by the mayor and other dignitaries of the municipality.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
