SESF plan to utilise fund raised during the open challange.

The year 2012  has been  a great  year for Sakhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation  (SESF) Khandbari. Last April SESF   was able to win the Global giving Open Challenge   by collecting   donation about  $5000 from 64 people. SESF  was  able to win a permanent place on the global giving website.

By the end of May 2012  the money will have transferred by Global Giving  organization  to SESF  Bank Account.

Out of the amount to be received   $400.00 will be used to pay for house rent  for one year. The amount  $400.00 will  be used to buy  500 kg rice, 10 kg pulse,  20 maize, 20 millet for  about six months for the organization.

Another $400.00 will be used  to:

  • construct a pen for keeping   goats, two bamboo houses for keeping 3 pigs.
  • Purchase 10 hens, three pigs, and two goats for the organization.
  • buy necessary agricultural tools like spades, knives, sickles, a doko  and namlo for carrying  water and other goods.
  • purchase some seasonal vegetable seeds,    necessary length of water pipe, and other things.
  • buy    a gas stove and two gas cylinder and a rice cooker some necessary kitchen utensils for the orphanage.
  •  buy   two mattress, 5 pillow, 10 mosquito nets.

The money  will  have brought a great change in the present condition of our organization. The money will be helpful to make our organization self dependent on  fruits and vegetables. The   hens, goats and pigs will be changed into cows. The children will be able to learn how to keep these animals as well as to grow fruits and vegetables. The rest of the money will be kept in  the bank in 15% bank interest.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to our donors   for their  continue support. Their  support has been able to bring a change in the lives of  our  orphaned, helpless children of Eastern Nepal. We also hope they will   will remember our organization and the children fondly in the future.
