 The kids had a very good time during the last three months.  They celebrated two   biggest festivals. Dashan and Deepawali having meat beaten rice and having Tika and Jamara from   their  superiors.

 Michael from Ireland sponsored a 18 kg goat for   them. The goat was cut at the orphanage.  Michael spent almost all his time with the kids playing with  them  celebrating  the festivals, having   meat and    varieties of dishes   with them.

Rafael   from Spain came to Khandbari again with Antony Raura.  The kids welcomed them and also celebrated the festivals   with the kids.

It   was very good time for Rabin, Kopila, Sandhya and Nabin Mamagar. Rabin met his brothers and sister. Nabin was able  to see his sister in Dharan    Sandyan was able   see her brother  in her  village. Kopila was able to see her father in Barabise.

Rabin was able to visit   his sister  in Biratagar. Michael sponsored all the expenditure for them. He did a very great contribution for the skids a the orphanage.

Now all the kids are getting on very well there. They all are going to school and progress very well.    Their school half yearly exam is going to take plane next  month, Now they are  prepare  for their hall yearly exam.

A lot of things took place at the orphanage

A lot of things happened  Child Welfare Home Khadnbari  for the last three months. Nirina and her two daughters from the USA    visited the   orphanage. They distributes some clothes to them.

The kids celebrated the 45 days  summer vacation. During the long holiday  some kids like Kopila, Santosh, Sandhya and Nabin Magar   visited their birth  place met their near relatives and friends. They spent at  the  place for about one week. Then  they  went  back home.

Rafael    Moliner a volunteer from Spain  came   to Khandbari on July 24,2071 to  volunteer at the orphanage.  He was very helpful   to  the kids. He bought   a bike for them  and also taught them  how to ride it. It will be very helpful for them in their future life.

Melissa  Pertusi a  lady from Brazil also came  to  Khandbari. She brought  a football for theme. They kids were very happy to receive  the football and to play there at the orphanage. Our company also arranged a seven days trekking for them. The rest of the time she spent volunteering at the orphanage.

Next month  the kids  are going to celebrate their biggest Dashan and Deepawali  festival.  For the festival we need money to  feed  beaten rice meat. banana, and other varieties of food. They need new clothes to wear during the fesdtival.

Festival celebration and educational result.

Dear Friends,

Now we have some good news to share with you about our orphanage. They celebrated happy new year on April 14, 2014 having Sel Roti and soft drinks and then singing and dancing on the orphanage yard. The caretaker mother cooked Sel Roti. The bigger boys and girls helped her in preparing other things like pickle vegetable curry etc. for eating.

The eating program was commenced from 3 pm. After the eating and drinking program finished singing and dancing was started. The kids sang and danced had lots of fun The They program remained till 8 in the evening. It was a great moment for the kids

All the kids except Kinari were able to pass their final exam. Rabin stood fourth in grade 8. Amonf 110 students.
The little kids Raj Kumar and Pujan were also able to pass the exam.
Nabin who had failed the exam last year was able to pass the exam this year. Since he was not satisfied the Makalu Boarding school, he was transferred to Surya Boarding School Khandbari.

With the fund we have been receiving from Global Giving organization we have been feeding them and also spending the money for their school dress school stationery and other necessary things.

Michael from Ireland is coming to Khandbari again on coming September 24. We are all very much excited to hear the good news.
We have a program to visit Kopila and Sangita's house during the period. All the bigger boys and girls will be going to visit the village. It will be a great time for the kids as well as us all.
We will have to do more to achieve our fund raising goal.

We have another very god news to share among you all. It is SESF has established a social trekking company in Khandbari. Through the company we organize Social Trek around eastern part of Nepal.

Kids spent the year 2013 happily and comfortably.

Dear friends,
First of all we would like to extend our heartiest greetings and best wishes to you and your family on the auspicious occasion of happy New Year 2014.
We have been very pleased to share our good news that the kids were able to the year 2013 more comfortably.
With your kid support we were able to raise $ 1256.70.We spent the money to feed the kids and also to pay for their school expenditure, school dress, shoes, stationery etc.


The children celebrated happy New Year 2014 at the orphanage by eating and drinking with the orphanage managing committee. The two volunteers 'Jumoke Richards from UK and Paulina from Sweden also enjoyed celebrating the festival with the kid.
Since some of the kids were poor in their studies we managed a private tutor for the kids . He taught them for four months from October 2013 to January 2014. Now the kids have been studying very well. We hope they will be able to get good marks in the exam


In our Fund raising campaign we will have to do more. For the we need your help.

Dear our valued donors, 

First of all we would like of extend our heartiest greetings and best wishes to you and your families on the auspicious occasion of coming Merry Christ and Happy New year 2014.

A lot of changes have taken place at child Welfare Home Khandbari during last four months. Last October the kids celebrated Dashain, as well as Deepawali,the grated festivals of Nepal, having mutton beaten rice, bananas,sel roti, wearing new clothes. During  last Dashan Michael and his mother  from Ireland were visiting Khandbari. They spent most of their time with the kids. Michel bought a football for the kids played football with them. His mother observed them playing football and having fun.

The guests bought new clothes for Rs. 3000.00 for each 12  kids.They also bought a rice cooker as well as other kitchen utensils for the organization. Michael has been ready to sponsor another child Mr. Nabin Magar from the orphanage to study at Surya Boarding school from coming March until he finishes his secondary label education. His sponsorship will commence from coming March 2014. Michel's mother Ethyl Fingleton has been ready to pay the orphanage House rent $1000.00 per year some coming years. Michael also has been ready to support bigger girl Kopila Subba to study a technical subject in Khandbari after she competes her SLC examination.


In order to help the kids in their study we have employed a private tutor Mr. Raj Kumar Dahal from Makalu Boarding School, Khandbari. Mr. Jumoke Richards from England has come to volunteer at the orphanage. Since last October 21,  he has been supporting the kids in doing honework. He has also been very helpful to the kids as well as the tutor. The kids have been progressing very well. Mr. Nabin Khanal has been able to secure 90% marks in his  first terminal exam.

. Still we will have to do more to achieve our fund raising goal.
