Feeding, uniforms increase school attendance
20 children have so far received uniforms and continued to get their meals weekly. This has enhanced their school program as they attend school more regularly. ‘As a head of this school, I am happy with the work of Juhudi in supporting the vulnerable children. They don’t miss school as before’ said Head Teacher, Mwanga Primary.
Without your commitment, these children would either be at home or loitering in the streets and school will be a far fetched dream.
Some of the children get ailments which require specialized treatment like the one facing little Josephine (Her picture attached). We know you will share widely this information with your friends to save such kind of children. What do you say!
5 orphans accessing education
Maria Achieng is a 16 year old girl. Maria’s parents died four years ago.
Juhudi children in Crisis organization offer Maria and other orphan children the opportunity to remain focused in her life. It pays for her school fees, clothing and medical care.
To date, Juhudi has supported 5 orphan children to access education in primary and secondary. Jacinter 15 years, an orphan now in St Teresa secondary school, Milicent 16 years at St Pual’s Secondary school, Master Cheres in Class 8 at Sinyereri Primary School and Mss Jerono in nursery school. These orphan children have benefited from this project. They also get food and clothing.
The sad news we have is that Ms Maria broke her leg two weeks ago while going to school. We have tried to raise money to pay for the hospital bills. However, we still have a deficit of US$ 300.
Save the live of Maria, donate now
