This project will help address the visual impairment in Pakistan through mobile school screening thus helping the poor children to grow healthy and contribute in the development of the nation
A major population of rural areas of Pakistan is affected with Eye problems. Poverty is a big hurdle for these people to come to the cities for treatment. The cost of treatment is beyond their capacity. KEF aims to go to the door steps of the poor masses by holding EYE CAMPS and performing Cataract surgeries for these people free of cost. This project will affect the lives of more than 200,000 people who are at the risk of blindness.
We address the visual impairment of the poor people.
•50,000 Poor School going children will be checked and benefited in 192 Schools •Training to Teachers of 192 schools for examining the eye sight of the students •Cataract of 3000 persons would be removed up to June 2010.
