We’re happy to announce that 135 of our students are now seated in new desks! We couldn’t have done it without you!
The forty-five three-seater desks have arrived and are now in use. The children are very happy to have space to sit and work without being pinched or getting splinters, as was the case with the old desks. This will help them pay attention in class, without the distractions of jostling for space on a crowded bench.
Craftsmen in the local community built these beautiful desks, and the project benefits the local economy right where the children live. We also want to give a shout out to friends from Grace Community Church in Centennial, Colorado. They helped with the final desk assembly at the school last week.
We're so thankfull for YOU and the help you've provided to make this school a place where children can come and feel like they are special. It makes such a difference for them when you invest in their lives!
