The third term of school is in full swing. You can see from the pictures that we have been repairing some of our old desks. Thanks to you, we know that next term will find us seated properly.
The $4,356 raised so far through GlobalGiving will arrive during holiday, and new desks will be waiting for us in the first term of a new school year! For this we are thankful, first to God, and also to you our donors and helpers in this work.
You have also helped us reach a major milestone in caring for more children. To stay on GlobalGiving and access the benefits it brings, we need to raise $4,000 from 50 unique donors during the month of September. Thanks to you, we have passed the $4,000 mark and now only need 13 more donors to reach 50!
To provide all the desks and furniture to fully equip the school, we will need to raise just over $20,000. We hope to raise half of that through GlobalGiving, with the rest coming from grants - and we are well on our way! We plan to use a similar strategy to fund future projects as we increase the capacity to serve children and families in Uganda.
