Ellen Daniels-Howell - Executive Director, Global Interfaith Partnership
Ellen has 30 years administrative experience in community-based programs for vulnerable populations. She has consulted with service organizations on program development, and taught undergraduate social work. For six years Ellen has developed and administered the Global Interfaith Partnership, an innovative interfaith organization providing comprehensive support to orphans in rural Kenya.
Joseph Okuya - Umoja Project Coordinator
Joseph has more than 15 years experience as a health care professional in community-based and institutional settings in his native Kenya. For over five years he has worked collaboratively with schools, congregations, health and social service providers to develop comprehensive support for children orphaned by HIV/AIDS and other diseases in an impoverished rural area of western Kenya.
Linda Olasya - Umoja Project Deputy Coordinator
Linda has a diploma in Community Health and Development, and is currently enrolled in a degree program in the same field. For two years she has worked for the Umoja Project as the Deputy Coordinator, with particular emphasis upon its initiatives with adolescent girls.
