Michele Merrifield - Co-Director

French business woman, living in South Africa for over 12 years. Worked on a private nature reserve and took care of many orphaned wild animals. Founding member of Daktari Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage. Helped design and implement the education program for the under-privileged children. Tremendous knowledge and experience in dealing with orphaned wild animals.

Ian Merrifield - Co-Director

Many years experience as a field guide and game ranger. Has lived in Africa all his life during which he has cared for many different orphaned wild animals. Passionate about the environment, Ian firmly believes the key to nature's future lies in education of the children. He has helped create the teaching program with the help of teachers and international volunteers.
