A mother aged 25 years with her prime pregnancy was saved by the free service offered in Gertrude ward paid for by donations from friends across the world. Emergency caesarean section was done baby boy was delivered with birth weight of 4.5kgs with no external abnormalities. After 8hours the baby’s temperature was rather abnormal, pediatrician was called in, investigations done (urinalysis, USS, RFT’S) all suggested it was renal parenchyoral disease related. A urologist found the baby was born with a renal anatomical obstruction which was rectified and the baby saved.
Please join hands with us to save more mothers and neonates by making generous contribution to our site on Global giving.
The mother was full praises and appreciation, a prime pregnancy is just too precious and the baby is golden. According to her the baby could have been lost if she had given birth at home not in the hospital with the right facilities.
