This project enhance the life span of 1000 Infected & Effected children by Medical Treatment , Insuring, Supplementary Nutrition, Educating the Vulnerable Children, Foster Care & Livelihood Supports.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
EAST GODAWARI District stands in first 4 high HIV prevalence districts in the state. EAST GODAWARI district is having around 77.0% of HIV incidence among women who have attended to Antenatal clinics. The rate of incidence is comparatively high in the rural areas than urban areas.This is more so in case of children from the marginalized communities. Besides being poorly nourished at home, they are turned away from schools, clinics and orphanages because their family members are HIV positive.
How will this project solve this problem?
The positive people network will take responsibility of counseling referrals for OI and ART, Nutritional Educational Livelihood Support and insuring the Lives of the infected the children.
Potential Long Term Impact
Counseling referrals for OI & ART, Nutritional Educational Livelihood Support and insuring the Lives of the infected the children are the issues of infected children effectively arrest further spread of HIV/AIDS & protect children from this pandemic.
