Gregory Rake - President of Agros

Gregory Rake served for 20 years in Latin America with MAP International, Project Concern and MCC in health and development. He led successful Health education initiatives related to cholera and AIDS, and for logistic systems for the Ministry of Heath in Bolivia. He has a Master’s in Health Services and Administration and is among the editors of the book, Serving with the Poor in Latin America.

Louise Ricardo Orellana - Supervisor of Agricultural Production

Louise Ricardo Orellana recently graduated from Zamarano, one of the most prestigious schools for agricultural training in Latin America. Zamarano is a Pan American center whose mission is to prepare leaders for the Americas in sustainable agribusiness, agroindustry, natural resources management and rural development. Orellana specialized in community development and participatory planning.

Norma Martinez - Executive Director Agros Honduras

Norma Martinez earned a Master’s in health education in Argentina, before working 20 years as a professional nurse in Honduras. After coordinating a nursing school for a hospital, she founded another school that taught job skills and provided 3 meals a day to low-income children. Norma coordinated a major relief effort for victims of hurricane Mitch before coming to work for Agros in 1999.
