Persons with disability are vulnerable segment of society. They need attention and due care to build up their career. NDF Nawabshah is running a Skill Development Centre to make them self sufficient. We need to sustain our centre to provide better services to 50 women in future. In our centre there are four disciplines in which we are providing free training to persons with disability. Women with disabilities are being empowered in Tailoring and embroidery, computer courses and English language.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
Women with disabilities are facing double discrimination for being women & disabled. Women with disabilities especially in rural areas are limited within four walls of rooms by parents to hide themselves from society.
