International Women's Day

Some of the women of SarahHappy in her new home
The support you have already given to Sarah's Circle has been amazing! We are grateful you've chosen to partner with us in our efforts to help women rebuild their lives.
On Monday, March 8th, we celebrate International Women's Day. As a global community, we take the day to recognize the achievements of many strong, amazing women and acknowledge the struggles and barriers that we continue to fight. International Women's Day has been honored annually since 1911and recognizes women's fights in labor, voting, violence, equality, and more. Women, with undeniable strength and fortitude, have made outstanding strides and achieved greatness- but we still have battles to fight.
At Sarah's Circle, an agency serving women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, we celebrate the achievements of women daily. Our women find success in creating a resume, reconnecting with their children, completing a drug abuse treatment program, signing the lease for a studio apartment, or simply being able to face the day with a smile and a sense of hope. Our programming, led by a dedicated, passionate staff, helps women create and meet each small step towards larger goals of independence and empowerment.
I urge you to consider making a donation to Sarah's Circle this International Women's Day in honor of the woman you most respect & admire- Rosa Parks, your 2nd grade teacher, your grandmother, your wife, your aunt, your mother, your daughter. Currently, your donation has the opportunity to go twice as far to help women who are homeless. Thanks to the generous support of a local foundation- if you are a new donor or if you increase your donation from last year- this donation will be matched dollar for dollar! You can double the impact of your contribution!
We have all been forever changed by an amazing woman in our lives - honor her today!
Sincerely,
Ella Phillips
