The Ministry of Education has expressed its full support to the program and we are raising the funds to go back and apply the BE curriculum to 10 more schools and the Rural Teachers' Training Institutes.
As part of the follow up to our 3-month pilot project in Liberia, Monen, one of our BE students and staff-in-training, who is also a County Officer for the Minsitry of Education in Liberia, came to the UN to present the impact of the project in the Liberian educational context. As a result of her presentation, the UN country representative for Sierra Leone expressed interest in replicating the model in his country because of its similar circumstances.
Harrietta, the other official from the Liberian Ministry of Education who participated in our BE program is now going to be involved in IBREA's Earth Citizen Declaration campaign. She's spreading the word among Liberian young people about the huge value of their brain and its capacity to see the world and live with an Earth Citizen awareness, an awareness that sees beyond nationality, race, religion, gender, or any other identity boundary.
Please continue supporting our efforts to grow in Liberia!!! Thank you!
