A delegation from Korea traveled to Liberia to carry out an assessment for the expansion of Brain Educaiton in Monrovia. They visited the two schools where we worked and also two of the Liberian Rural Teachers Training Institutes (RTTIs), where all the Liberian teachers receive their training and certification.
By the end of the assesment, the Minister of Education provided a letter soliciting the implementation of Brain Education in 10 more schools in the capital and in the RTTIs. "After a long history of violence and war, our young generations are in need of overcoming an inherited trauma from the past and expand their creativity for a better future. I believe Brain Education can offer new tools having great potential to advance this process", concludes the Minister in her letter.
Some students from the first two schools where we started call the office and write us emails, they keep practicing Brain Education on their own and they are sharing what they learned with their community. They keep asking when are we coming back...
We are now in the process of fundraising for this new phase of the program. You are the most valuable support for this process!!!! Please keep activating your networks and encouraging more donations. Let's make it happen together!
