Namirembe Immaculate is a widow living with two children. Her husband died of HIV/AIDS in 2005 and left her helpless with two children to fend for, yet she was also sickly. After the death of her husband, Immaculate faced so many challenges, because she had no source of livelihood; She could not meet her medical bills neither could she pay school fees and scholastic materials for her two children. However, RACOBAO volunteers kept in contact with her while giving her psycho-social support. When RACOBAO received funds for the livestock project under the GlobalGiving fund Immaculate was selected by the volunteers to benefit under the project. She received 04 goats which have so far multiplied to 08 goats. However ,she has so far sold 03 goats to meet her medical bills also pay school fees and buy scholastic materials for her 02 children.
She is very grateful for GlobalGiving for the funds and bringing her hope without a husband.
