EMPOWERMENT CREATE SELF CONFIDENCE
By Mamoon Akhtar | Secretary
Dear Friends and Supporters of Samaritan Help Mission,
Greetings, Just like to share a small report and impact been made by the supporters of GLOBALGIVING
EMPOWERMENT CREATES SELF CONFIDENCE

Shaheen is the student of class IX in an urdu medium school the only one recognized school in Tikiapara catering the educational need for the population of more than 4.0 lacs, Her father is a Cart Puller, He work from early morning till late night to feed his family of four daughter and wife.Among them Shaheen is one. she is a good student, but lack support of getting books, school fees and also tution fees it make difficult to Continue her studies,
Once Shaheen came to SHM to seek help to get a pair of uniform and books for class-VIII,which SHM supported But she told me, "Ssir I have completed my training from SHM Vocational training Centre and like to work after I come from my school." She joined the vocational training working unit and started earning weekly income of Rs.400/- per week from 12pm to 5 pm. She very hard working and punctual. She is also very good in her studies.
This year I inquired about her studies and offered to help her by paying her school fees and books. She promptly replied me that as I am working I do not need support now. My employment is helping me to continue my studies. "You can help some other girl sir,"she said. It really touched me. This is an example that empowerment can make one self confidence and can survive with dignity and with head high. The blessings from the Heart of Poor Shaheen will surely go to the supporters from this GLOBALGIVING project.
With Best Wishes
