Summary of Achievements
February 2013 has been a low hiring month in terms of PWDs being hired. No PWDs were placed in employment. 16 are in the pipeline and they will start their work in the middle of March 2013.

NOWPDP met some new companies that seemed interested in hiring PWDs.

NOWPDP staff met 3 companies, with whom employment opportunities were discussed.
January 2013 has been a low hiring month in terms of PWDs being hired. 1 PWD was placed in employment that started working for Skills Development Project (NOWPDP). 18 are still in the pipeline and they will start their work in the mid of February 2013. In addition, more people employment is planned in the future.
1 candidate was selected in total in the month of January’ 2013 and 18 are in the pipeline.
NOWPDP staff met OBS Pharma in January out of which new horizons of employment were discussed.
December 2012 has been a below average month in terms of PWDs being hired. 5 people were placed in employment that started working for Skills Development Project (NOWPDP). 13 are in the pipeline and they will start their work in the start of January 2013. In addition, more people employment is planned in the future.
5 candidates were selected in total in the month of December’ 2012 and 13 are in the pipeline.
NOWPDP staff couldn’t meet any new companies this month.

Summary of Achievements: September 2012 has been an average month in terms of PWDs being hired. A total of 9 numbers of PWDs were placed in employment. 7 people commenced employment at Cresox (socks factory), 1 person was hired by Shahbaz Garments as a Textile Engineer and 1 person with a physical disability was selected in the first week of September 2012 as a designer at MILF. What was achieved this month? - 9 candidates were selected in total in the month of September. What are we proud of? - Evaluation of 6 people with hearing impaired was held and their CVs sent to Cresox Pvt Ltd. - Evaluation of 4 people with hearing impaired was held in the second week September and sent their CVs to Express Tribune (newspaper). What companies did we meet? NOWPDP staff met with 4 companies and both seemed keen on the idea of hiring PWDs. - Naveena Export - Soneri Bank - Afroze Textile - Express Tribune Monthly Goals: - Number of companies met: 4 (planned: 4) - Number of applicant CVs sent to employers: 29 (planned: 30) - Number of applicants commencing employment: 9 (planned: 20) - Number of applicants selected but not commenced: 2 October 17th is GlobalGiving's "bonus day"!- 30% of any donations made on the day will be matched by GlobalGiving, which means that your donation will go 30% further!- Additionally, the organisation that raises the most funds and the organisation that has the most donors on the 17th will receive $1000!If you, a friend or a family member would like to contribute to our job placement programme, Wednesday 17th is the day to do so!
