Disability Is Not Inability

Physically challenged, mentally challenged members of our society have for long been ignored and despised. They are usually left out in many developmental issues in which they can play a role by issuing their certification or issues which affect them in the society. Some are often locked out in a room hence the rights are compromised. An organization in Kakamega called Empowerment of Disabled Development Organization has played a big role in fighting for the rights, offered accommodation, wheel chairs, food and clothing to the disabled people especially school going children.
