Map of RESSETLING IDPs When the members of citizens of a particular country run from their homes to settle in other places, they are reffered to us Internally Displaced Persons. During Post Election Violence in Kenya in 2008,several people were sent out of our homes because of the tough times and situations they had to pass through. Some of their homes while others even lost their family members. They were then forced to run away and seek for better places that they could settle in. Most people settled in fields and used tents as their houses. There have been several attempts to help the IDPs get back to their homes or get resettled to other peaceful areas. This has not been successful due to frequent political interferance. This is a real problem that needs to be addressed and the interested parties need to come in to ensure that the IDPs get ressetled. Read more.
