Energy assistance for low-income Oregon families

Fall's in the Air- Winter is Around the Corner

I see the leaves turning bright fall colors of Red, Orange and Yellow.  The nights are starting to chill a little earlier.  The day is getting a bit shorter.  This is my favorite time of year; not too hot, not too cold out and when breezes blow the leaves around it looks like a rainbow snow storm.  Oregon HEAT is about to have its Annual Dinner & Benefit Auction.  On October 1st we kick off our heating season with our annual event.  This year's theme is "Share the Warmth all Around the State...and Beyond!"  This is the time of the year when we start seeing a jump in requests for energy assistance and we have to do our best to raise more funds to help the crying demand for emergency energy assistance.  We hope to raise more money than last year and are sending out the request for you to donate.

Global givers have stepped up the plate so far with nearly $1,500 in donations to help those in need.  We hope that this will be a year that if you can give, you can reach a bit deeper into your pockets and "Share the Warmth"
