More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

The beneficiaries are 35 chidlren from 7 to 13 years old of Rosario, Argentina, living in poverty conditions and at risk situation. In Argentina there are 6 millions children living in this situation. These children have many basic needs unsatisfied and therefore they become socially excluded.

Activities

Twice a week the children have computers lessons, gaming workshops and blogging for the older ones.The program also plans the use of other devices like mp3 players,mobile phones, digital cameras, etc

Potential Long Term Impact

The program gives the children equal education opportunities and it's an 'eye opener' for them.Besides the obvious motivation boost they have due to the new tools,they start seeing things from another perspective and dreaming of a future.
