We just finished our two weeks winter holidays in Argentina, bust since our last report many things have been going on.
So far the experience of working with girls and boys separately have shown it’s benefits. Through social media, watching on line videos and gaming experiences, the girls see the e-learning workshop as a safe environment to talk about difficult topics such as gender violence, sexual behavior, and how to prevent diseases. Another topic that is permanently analyzed are role models, who are they and what makes them worth imitating.
During this period the boys have been focusing on civic participation and on how their actions have impact on others. They’ve been investigating specifically about traffic rules and recycling, and playing with this subjects in different simulation games.
As I have mentioned on previous reports, you are more than welcome to visit us if you are traveling through Argentina and see with your own eyes what you are making possible with your support. We are very grateful for your help.
