Children from poor families become drop out because parents can not afford to pay tuition fees and provide educational materials. This project is intended to keep these children in school.
The community is predominantly poor and deprived . Children from this community often drop out in junior high school because their poor parents can not continue to pay their tuition fees and over time these children are forced out of school. Provision of basic educational materials such as books pens pencils and uniforms becomes difficult and because of the shame felt by these children and abuse they suffer it discourages them from going to school.
This project is aimed at providing educational materials and paying of tuition fees for children who are affected in order to keep them in school and complete their education and also reduce the drop out rate in this community
Beneficiaries will be able to complete their basic education and continue to a higher level.Education is key in reducing the poverty level of their family and the community because an educated community creates opportunity for its people
