The donations to marian hope's empowerement project have been somewhat limited of late. We would however like to thank our donors, and would like to encourage and engender further support. The ovc are still in school and have been performing exceptionally. As such, we would like to appeal for new support to help grow our organizations reach, and further the effectiveness of the project. The sponsorship of the ovc’s is a project inspired and driven by the need to give rural youth and women a sense of purpose, and create more inclusive societies. Once again thanks to our donors, samily and friends. We look forward to a successful year ahead.
This year, the response from donors has been on the low. As such we have been unable to meet our target, thus leaving more vulnerable children with little or no support. Given the security issues faced in the Jos-Plateau, it is imperative that vulnerable children are supported, and as such shielded from the negative effects such security challenges create. Education is a right of each of these children, as it is for most. A proper education empowers each of the children to improve on their current living standard in the future, enabling them to make positive impacts and contributions to society. Pupils being sponsored have been fairing well. We would like to thank all our donors, and ask for your continued support and appreciation for our cause.
As our quest to give rural children in Shendam educational scholarship goes on, we still solicit to you our dear family and friends not to relent in your giving. We also want to say a huge thank you to all our donors. The ovc are on vacation and reports reaching us says the children are picking up well. They have successfully finished a session and are preparing for a new session in September-this involves buying new sets of books and textbooks and sewing new sets of uniforms plus the ovc upkeep for the academic year. We have 10 new ovc we are introducing into the scheme. We are still awaiting responses from the various schools they'll be posted to. Thanks once again our dear donors, family and friends for your support. we love you all.
The general respose towards giving to the Educational Sponsorship Of OVC In Rural Shendam has been quite poor, We are still a huge number away from our target but we hope that through your kind donations, we'll be able to get more orphans and vulnerable children in Jos Shendam back to school. The first term ended well with an Easter Party for the orphans and vulnerable children which held in Jos. The children are back to school to begin a new term. We were able to get them food stuff and other items to back to their various schools with. Thanks to all our wonderful donors for your generous support.
Once again a very happy new year to all our sponsors. School started at the mid of last month and the children on our sponsorship list are back to school. We have been able to pay their school fees and gotten most of their school materials-school books. We are still working on getting each of their report sheets from their various schools to send to our sponsors. The security in Jos is more stable now and we pray it gets better. We are still very far from our target which is sponsorship of 500 orphans and vulnerable children to school, we hope that by the end of the year, we would have attained that target. We want to still say a big thanks for all your support, we look forward to more donations in other to meet our target.
