No Child should live in Illiteracy!

By William Logai Ochieng | Executive Director

Each has a right to attend school!
Each has a right to attend school!

The construction activities have been put on hold because of rising uncertainty in South Sudan.

In this first reporting in 2017:
With money from other people and your contributions will be used to buy 25 bags of cement. When unrest improves, we recommence the work. Last report 2016: 12 galvanized metal sheets and a timber machine had not been delivered. Our team feared lack of safety. These goods are deliverable when the clashes between the fighting forces stop or when insecurity improves which we hope very soon.

In the second reporting in 2017, HopeOfiriha posts you a new field update report to inform you the impact of your positive contribution and how this is affecting positive social changes in the life of children who deserved an education right from the ground.

Growing instability triggers new displacement
Fighting between armed groups has driven thousands of people from their villages in Eastern, Central, and Western Equatoria states since the start of January. Several thousand had taken refuge in Uganda. The Relief Agencies are increasingly concerned at recent growing uncertainty around South Sudan and its serious impact on the civilian population.

UNHCR alerted that localized fighting between rebel armed groups and government soldiers and an apparent breakdown in law and order are being reported in and near Yambio, some 300 kilometers west of Juba.

Sporadic gunfire is commonplace, and there has also been an increase in crime involving car-jackings, attacks on government property, looting of civilian homes and sexual assaults,"
