Self-Sustainable Education

Self-Sustainable Education
Here are three of our Kenyan students working inside the classroom. In our pioneering educational model, students learn the traditional academic courses that the Kenyan government requires. But they pair this traditional learning with a "Learning By Doing" technique. They study the number of eggs their chickens will need to produce so they can make a profit, and the agricultural science that will make their crops grow better. Our schools turn students into successful businessmen and women. So when they graduate, they will have the skills to raise themselves, their families, and their community out of poverty. Innovation & Education

Innovation & Education
What's so innovative about our model? The girls in this rural village are learning the practical, agricultural skills that will enable them to break the poverty cycle. They are learning how to operate agricultural businesses inside and outside the classroom, in theory and in practice. School is taught in chalkboard classrooms but also in the agricultural fields that financially support the schools. Welcome to the future of international development! Hands Up

Hands Up
Teach A Man To Fish provides students with the chance to help themselves. We give hands up not hand outs. Our innovative model of education brings financial sustainability to both students and schools in the developing world. It not only teaches students entrepreneurial and business skills that enable them to lift themselves out of poverty but also financially supports the schools. (view small | med | large | orig)
