Up until 2006, the north of Uganda was gripped by an armed conflict between the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) and government lasting for two decades. This project aims to increase school enrolment and retention of 720 formerly abducted/war-affected children through monthly community motivation meetings, psychosocial support, provision of scholastic materials, and a radio talk show. (view small | med | large | orig)
