Luke Dowdney - Founder and Coordinator
Luke Dowdney, coordinator of the Viva Rio / IANSA project on Children and Youth in Organized Armed Violence (COAV); Masters Degree in Social Anthropology; Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his work to prevent exploitation and violence against children in Brazil; Author: Children of the Drug Trade: A Case Study of Children in Organised Armed Violence in Rio de Janeiro.
Leriana Del Giudice Figueiredo - Co-Director
Responsible for daily oversight and citizenship and conflict resolution classes. Leriana has a masters degree in sociology and over five years experience in working with at risk youth in Rio de Janeiro’s favela communities. This includes a number of international youth exchange programmes carried out between Rio de Janeiro, England and Germany.
Carolina Senna Figueiredo - Programs Director Dreams Can Be Foundation
Carol Senna Figueiredo joined DreamsBrasil in December 2003 as our Programs Liaison. Carol is a graduate of UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) with a degree in Social Science. Carol is responsible for regular communication between the programs that DCBF supports and our staff.
