Support 40 teachers from around the world to attend the 2013 International Montessori Congress. These teachers will have the opportunity to connect, grow, and learn from others working with children through this holistic method of education.
Teachers around the world are working to support the intellectual and social development of children through the use of the Montessori method. Many of these teachers are underfunded and working in isolated pockets around the world. The 2013 International Montessori Congress is an opportunity to connect these teachers with colleagues and mentors in an effort to support the natural development of children.
The Congress will offer lectures from internationally renowned speakers, presentations from teachers doing remarkable work on nearly every continent, and a variety of opportunities for connecting with colleagues to improve classroom practice.
Forty teachers will be awarded financial aid to attend this event and will bring their knowledge and inspiration back to their classrooms and communities.
