Thank you for your continued support to Society for Poor People Development. By supporting our efforts, you are providing our students the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and make a difference in their communities.
This year we have 20 girls enrolled to the Nursing Aide Course in Medical & Nursing Sector - Skill Development Initiative (SDI) – under Ministry of Labour & Employment. We will continue to expand the admissions each year. Besides the regular course, they are also provided with computer and English coaching classes to help them develop their reading and comprehension skills. They are able to carry on simple conversations with their teachers. Socially, they have become quite confident and energetic.
During the last week of February they appeared for the assessment exams. We had external invigilators to access the students’ practical session. Their results are much awaited. Our girls at SPPD have grown in so many different ways. It has been so exciting to witness their eagerness to learn, while watching their development socially, physically, academically and emotionally.
