Educating Disadvantaged Children in Uganda



The Humanist Academy is a school project that offers to take disadvantaged children such as orphans and those from poor families back to school in a rural area of Uganda.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

The school offers educational opportunities to children who would otherwise not have accessed secondary education.

How will this project solve this problem?

*Teaching students both academic and vocational subjects * community welfare and education *Provide meals i.e.breakfast and lunch to students *Provide writing and reading materials to students *Promoting games,dance and drama among students

Potential Long Term Impact

A secular school that is self sustaining offering education to disadvantaged children in this poor rural community.A community with educated and employed men and women
