Educating 200 school drop out girls in India



Yukti Samaj Sewa Society plans to provide free coaching and study material to the poor girls who dropped out from school in the rural areas of Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh in India. Yukti Samaj Sewa Soceity also plans to bridge the drop out girls with formal education system.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

Madhya Pradesh has a large number of tribal communities and almost 40% of the state's inhabitants live below the poverty line, IWhile the main obstacles to female education in Hoshngabad district of the state are frequently assumed to stem from cultural or religious social attitudes it is often concerns about safety when traveling to and from school .the main drivers behind girl's dropout rates 1.Concern over safety due to school distance 22. Financial constraints 33. Failing the class 9 exam.

How will this project solve this problem?

Yukti Samaj Sewa Society would provide free coaching to the 6-11 year girls for improvement in the qulity of education . Providing study material to the girl students like note book, pen ,pencils school bags etc .( As the state Govt. provides text books and uniform only). Girls would be encouraged to attend school and to complete their basic education. . Parents and communities would be encouraged to monitor quality standards at schoo

Potential Long Term Impact

The project will educate 200 dropped out poor girl who belonging the disadvantaged or tribal community, to restart and continue their study.
