Day Three Update.

Students working in the community
Students working in the community

In these first three days, 27 of you have helped us get very close to meeting the Global Giving December Open Challenge threshold of $4,000 and 50 unique donors by December 22nd.   We  are more than halfway to meeting our goal of becoming a permanent member of the GlobalGiving community and we want to thank you!  Additionally, today, with your support, we received a $300 bonus for the Facebook shares.

Your contributions so far have helped fund the following items:

1) One-half year of room and board for a deserving student from an underserved rural community.

2) Supported a  farmer education student project to help a community improve their nutrition and their income potential.

3) Helped fund student entrepreneurial projects to ensure students acquire business skills that will help them become successful entrepreneurs post graduation.  Job creators instead of job seekers is what you are helping build!

4) Assisted in funding a community project so our students can bring resources to a poor rural community.

Thank you on behalf of our students, our faculty and all of us at EARTH University and EARTH University Foundation.  Keep spreading the word.

About Project Reports

Project Reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.

If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you will get an e-mail when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports via e-mail without donating or by subscribing to this project's RSS feed.

Combined with other sources of funding, this project raised enough money to fund the outlined activities and is no longer accepting donations.
