Send a student to EARTH University and change a life, a community and a country. EARTH empowers young people from impoverished regions with the skills necessary to implement lasting, positive change.
Rural areas in the developing world are often where the fewest opportunities exist. At EARTH, we make a special effort to recruit from rural communities with more than 70 percent of our students coming from rural areas. EARTH University completely finances 50 percent of the cost for all of its students through an endowment and, thanks to the support of donors around the world, provides additional need-based scholarships to approximately 80 percent of all of its students.
EARTH offers a four-year undergraduate program in agricultural sciences and natural resources management that emphasizes values, ethics, entrepreneurship and environmental and social commitment. This project provides funds to cover one year at EARTH.
EARTH’s approach to education encourages alumni to return home to share knowledge and create opportunities. More than 87% of our alumni have returned to their home countries as job creators and agents of lasting change for a sustainable future.
