I was born in Bucaramanga, but my mother had to leave San Alberto because of the public order situatuon. I live with my mom, my brothers and my grandmother. With the past of days I feel I am learning a lot and not long to achieve my goal.

I love to spend my freee time playing soccer, studying and sharing time with my friends, Although sometimes things aren´t easy, I try to be a smiley face, to support my brothers and tell them they have to struggle to achieve all they want.

Thank to all our donnors who make possible the dreams of childs like Mauricio. Thanks to you they are able to dream with a better future for them and for their families.

Making 160 Colombian orphan dreams come true

My name is Felipe, I was born in La Gamarra, César, in the north region of Colombia. We were happy at home, we had a farm where we cultivated fruits and vegetables. One day, in 2000 our mother took us out of home, we were starting a trip to another city we didn´t know and my father stayed in the town looking for a job to support us.

We arrived to Bucaramanga and thanks to my mother we always had the necesary things to live. My mother, always looking the best for us found the Estructurar Foundation. There we can study, play and dream with a better tomorrow.  Every day I do my best for being better, and I hope, maybe in future, to returm to my farm.

Every day I say to my brothers they have to believe in themselves, to prepare themselves to be better every day and to be thankful with organizations like Estructurar.

Thank you very much for your support. You are making possible my family dreams and you are fulling my live of hope.

I almost forget, I want to be a graphic designer. In the place I study, there is a special course about it and I like it so much¡¡¡

Angel Luis Pedroso
Angel Luis Pedroso

My name is Angel Luis Pedroso, I am13 years and I was born in El Banco, Magdalena, I lived there the first years of my life. By situations beyond my control I had to commute towards Jagua de Ibirico, my dad says that some day i will understand the situation, but actually I don't.

I am living in Bucaramanga 6 years ago, we are five brothers and I am the greatest. When we arrived to Bucaramanga, my dad didn't have a job neither a home, but with dreams intact. Those dreams that every day takes care of my father again when he tells me, "Son you have to study, I want that you success!!

We were established in the northern city of Bucaramanga, the situation is complicated, but we found the Estructurar Foundation that has given us the opportunity to grow and build our dreams.

My mother left us one year ago, my dad´s support has been very important to us, I learned to fight for my dreams. He works in construction and every day works hard to build my family dreams.  I've been a mother to my brothers My little brother wants to be like me. My dream is to be biologist, I am preparing me since now, studying hard, doing some sports, and learning as much as possible.  I hope one day to return to my father every effort he did for the family.

Thanks to you, my family and many other children and families can build their future and change their reality.

Thank you very much!!

Educating 160 orphans in Bucaramanga, Colombia

Joel David Hernandez Sandoval, a happy child, gifted, full of dreams and illusions that make your life and make a character, a whole day to day child overcomes small adversities of life, as well as calls those situations that may not want to remember. His family lived happily in a territory that was taken away by violence, now her dad is a vendor of sweets on the buses, the home she had gone, everything is very unsettled and his mother from time to time there for him. Joel was born in Bucaramanga and really live with an aunt who gives aid, yet none of this has the skills and dreams are gone, just the opposite, the little time he spends at home, good in the space allowed to live, has helped to participate in programs such as Theatre, an excellent actor in training, who lives in each work involved, appropriates his character so you can move to different ages and life situations. His enormous drive to succeed and get ahead do not stop, in class each day striving to be the best and fulfill their academic responsibilities with good results. In the Educational Institution is a school radio station and it is nice to see direct Joel, look for hymns in the flag hoisted, edit, radio spots to listen to their peers later in the hour of rest, recording the testimonies of people who visit the station, to encourage their peers to participate in radio programs, all these activities make Joel a tireless child for their dreams.
