Julia Bolz - Founder

Julie is a nationally-recognized social justice activist. An international lawyer, she left her career to serve in the world's most impoverished regions. In 2002, she started working in Afghanistan. She regularly meets with political decision makers, speaks around the country, and writes about her experiences. Her vision is to see all children attend primary school by 2015.

Ginna Brelsford - Executive Director

Ginna has devoted over 20 years to poverty eradication in Alaska, Latin America, Russia and most recently Mongolia. Ginna became ED in 2011, to help Ayni leverage Julie's unique talents and experiences while maintaining a well run, transparent organization that is responsive to the educational needs of Afghan communities as well as to donors interested in journeying with an Afghan school.
