Singing for the " Pachamama" ( Mother Earth )

Singing for the " Pachamama" ( Mother Earth )
Yesterday April 22 we celebrated our first anniversary as a Day Care Center and Kindergarden together with the Earth Day.We invited the parents to come and join us on our games and activities related with the environment. In order to get to know to he families our project " Tierra de Ninos", the kids were singing a song to the Mother Earth, that was followed by an " Pago a la Pachamama" ( a peruvian ritual when you give the kind of supplies you want to offer to the " Pachamama" in order to have luck, fertility and abundance ). Next to it all together planted a " Floripondio" tree, so the children can take care of her everyday and see her grow. (view small | med | large | orig)
