Summary
The main causes remain have many children (lots of deliveries);
Early deliveries (too young to have babies); Shot time between pregnancies; and sometimes too late pregnancies (too old to be pregnant). Despite the progress made in the reduction of the mortality rate of pregnant women in the world, the 2015 rendez - vous will not be met if no additional efforts one made.
This project aims to sensitize 500 women to practice family planning and to prevent unwanted pregnacies in Kinshasa.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
It is important to mention that the Sub-Saharan region has the highest death rate of pregnant women with 87% death rate of women in the world according to the OMD evaluation report of 2011 and Kinshasa is concerned of this problem
The women and girls are affected. We expect to sensitize 500 women to planning or avoid unwanted pregnacies
How will this project solve this problem?
The sensitization of women and girls will help to prevent them self from multiple pregnacies Early deliveries (too young to have babies); Shot time between pregnancies; and sometimes too late pregnancies (too old to be pregnant).
This action will reduce the death caused by deliveries
Potential Long Term Impact
At the long term more of women adopte a behaviour which help them to avoid multiple pregnacies
